Welcome to Evergreen Elementary School, a great place to learn!  Our goal is to create a safe learning community in which students of all abilities can succeed socially, emotionally and academically. We are proud of our excellent reputation in providing our students with the foundation and passion for lifelong learning.

My educational journey started by receiving my Undergraduate Degree from The Ohio State University.  While teaching 4th grade at Crissey Elementary in Springfield Local School District, I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Bowling Green State University. I also completed the Principal and Superintendent Licensure Programs.

My husband and I raised our two daughters in the Oak Openings and Maumee State Forest area in Swanton Township.  You might find us hiking the trails with our dog or riding our bikes on the Wabash Cannonball Trail.  I enjoy playing tennis and being part of local community theaters.

Evergreen Elementary School was established in 2005.  Working with the staff from Fulton Elementary School and Lyons Elementary School, I joined the Evergreen Elementary School staff as the Assistant Principal in our new building. In 2013-2014, I became the Elementary Principal. Our school is what it is because of our students, staff and community. I invite you to visit us to see first hand all the wonderful fruits of our labor.
