Hello Evergreen Community

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to Evergreen Middle School! I am excited about the upcoming year, and I cannot wait to get to know all the students, parents, and community members.  For those who do not know me, my name is Brady Ruffer, and I am honored to be the new Principal of Evergreen Middle School. As a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio, it is well known that Evergreen is a school district that is greatly respected, comes with a tradition of strong academic success, and a supportive community.  This year will be my third year in administration, and prior to that I was a middle school/high school Social Studies teacher and coach. During the past two years I was an Assistant Principal in an elementary building, however, I found that I missed interacting with the older students.

The middle school staff has been working hard in the past couple weeks to prepare for the beginning of the year, and we are ready for students to fill the hallways.  Along with the familiar faces, we have added new staff members to this great building. Heather Christensen will be joining us this year as a language arts teacher, Jessica Root, Elizabeth Niese,  and Abby Pennington have joined the team as new intervention specialists. Luke Rosen will be taking over the helm of the choir program.

If there are ever and questions, concerns, or you would just like to talk please feel free to stop in and talk.  I am here for the students and families of this great community, and I look forward to working with you to help better the education for our students at Evergreen Middle School.
