Welcome to Evergreen Middle School and thank you for visiting the Evergreen Middle School website.  Even after 38 years in education, it continues to be a pleasure, a privilege, and exciting to work with the students, parents, community, and staff that comprise Evergreen Middle School.  We continue to strive to make Evergreen Middle School a place where our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students can thrive academically and socially and be prepared to enter the high school with the skills and mindset necessary to become lifelong learners and productive members of the community.  Our staff is prepared to meet the challenges of Middle School students by providing an education that is engaging, standards based, technology rich and meets the social-emotional needs of this exuberant population. We know that each student is different and has their own set of needs and it is our goal to support each and every student so that they can achieve and be successful both academically and socially.  Our staff is always willing to meet or discuss any questions you may have about your child’s learning so please feel free to contact us. I can be reached by email at: or by phone at:  419-644-2331 ext. 1136.

As I mentioned earlier, I have been in education for 38 years as a teacher and as an administrator.  After graduating from Miami University I taught special needs for 22 years in Arcanum, Ohio, Austin, Texas, and Bowling Green, Ohio.  After receiving a Master’s Degree in Administration from BGSU, I became a Principal at Bowling Green Middle School for 11 years and now I am beginning the sixth year as Principal of Evergreen Middle School.  I truly do enjoy the challenge of working with Middle School students and the lively day-to-day chaos associated with this age group. I am keenly aware of the needs of Middle School students and the tough choices they are facing as they approach young adulthood.  Our goal at Evergreen Middle School as we educate, parent, and shape the lives of these middle schoolers, is to focus on achievement, enjoyment and success as we prepare our students for high school, college, and the world of work. We also value input from families and the community knowing that support and collaboration from both these entities is critical to the success of our students.  Thank you for your continued support, looking forward to a great 2018-2019 and Go Vikings!
