Today is National Teach Ag Day. Teach Ag Day is a day designed to promote and celebrate school based agriculture education. Since Evergreen is lucky enough to have such an amazing Agriculture Education teacher and program here in the high school, I encourage you to take a minute to thank Ms. Hanifan for her time and commitment to Agriculture Education students and initiatives. The boy's golf team was victorious last night in their match against Patrick Henry, 172-177. Scoring for the team was Travis Mersing with a 41, CJ Langenderfer with 43, and Zach Lumbrezer and Aaron Miller both with a 44. The teams is on a 6 match win streak heading into the league tournament on Friday. Good luck guys

Hey Seniors participating in the Lottery Raffle Fundraiser -- if you have tickets that you know you are NOT going to sell, PLEASE return them to Mrs. Conrad asap! Your fellow classmates are in need of more tickets and Mrs. Conrad is out, so your cooperation would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to all who are selling and making this a successful fundraiser!

Seniors -- your class officers are beginning to prepare for the Senior Class Memory Book, and they need your help! In order for this book to be a success, please turn in photos of yourself and your classmates throughout the ages. Photos can include baby pics, toddler poses, little league, a class field trip, 6th grade camp, name it, it's needed! Photos can be turned in on a flash drive, CD or the actual print, just be sure to put your name on it so it can be returned to you. Don't make Mrs. Conrad ask your mothers for photos, or you will be the baby in the book sitting naked in the bathtub!  
There are a few yearbooks from last school year available for purchase if you would still like one. The cost is $57 and they are available in the high school office. 

Attention Sophomores & Juniors who are interested or have signed up for the PSAT. Please make sure you stop down to the Counseling office to pay for your PSAT ASAP!

Attention ALL Juniors- All juniors will be attending the ACT practice test trip on Oct. 31. Everyone will be attending so there will be no sign-up. This is a free opportunity to prep for the ACT. please plan to attend. 

School Wide Lottery ..... Remember students— this can be a very effective fundraiser if all students sell tickets; it can help your class earn funds for activities, prom, and more.  AND…the long weekend is the PERFECT time to sell to family and friends.  Win $100 or more in the month of October if your ticket matches the evening Pick 3 drawings.  Sell your tickets, collect the money and completed stubs, and return both to your advisor.  It is that SIMPLE.  So get out there and sell and make a difference for your class!

 Any high school or middle school girl interested in participating in a Fall basketball league there are flyers available in the office with three different options available.  See Coach Cymbolin in room 300 with any questions you may have. 
Sophomores & Juniors interested in the PSAT- please sign-up in the counseling office. If you signed up for the PSAT please turn in your money asap.

Attention all students and space cadets! Homecoming is just around the corner, and this year’s theme is sure to be out of this world! 2018’s Blast Off to Homecoming will be on Saturday, September 29 from 7:30-10:30 pm in the cafeteria. This year’s tickets are $10 keychains and can be purchased beginning Monday, September 24 through Friday, September 28 before school and during A & B lunches.  Make sure to bring your numbered keychain on dance night because it is your entrance into the dance. If you are bringing an outside guest, you will need to pick up a form and register your guest with the high school office by Thursday, September 27. No tickets will be sold at the door and no guest over 20 years of age will be admitted to the dance.
