Did you know that every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. is in need of blood and that while 37% of the population is eligible to donate blood, less than 10% do each year?  If you ever wanted to do your part for blood donation, then how about donating blood at the Student Council Red Cross Blood Drive?!  This year's blood drive will be held on Tuesday, April 10 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.   The only requirements to donate blood are that you be at least 16 years old, turn in a permission slip to the office in order to donate if you are under 18 by Tuesday, April 3, weigh at least 110 lbs.,and be in general good health by the date of the drive.  Starting on Monday, March 19, student council members will be visiting students during A and B lunch with a sign up sheet.  They will also be able to answer any of your questions, so just tell a student council member which block you'd like to donate and they'll sign you up! Come support this great cause and please donate blood to save a life.

It's student council election time at the high school!  If you are interested in running to represent your class as a student council officer or representative position for the 2018-2019 school year, you need to pick up your registration forms packet in Room 405 from Mrs. Dicken.
