Announcements

Committees will begin meeting soon to prepare for prom on May 4.  A few students signed up during our class meeting in September. We still need help with a variety of committees including decorations, set-up, and clean-up.   See Mrs. Jones if you are interested in helping with any of these Prom Committees.

There will be a girls soccer enrichment meeting Thursday during enrichment. Meeting will take place in the high school gym.

Last night the JV Boy's Basketball team was defeated by Anthony Wayne.  Leading the way for the Vikings was CJ Hauk with 9 points, while Ethan Loeffler added 7 points to go along with 4 rebounds.  The team's next game will be Friday when they travel to Swanton to take on the Bulldogs, game time is 6:00.


Attention Seniors- Please check your school email regularly as scholarship opportunities have and are being mailed out. 

Attention Juniors with the last name N-Z- you have an enrichment meeting with Mrs. Roper in the Cafeteria Thursday Jan. 17 for scheduling for next school year. Please make sure to attend. 

The Evergreen Varsity Boys Bowling team defeated Tinora 2300 pins to 1942 pins.  Ethan Shively lead all NWOAL bowlers with excellent 244 and 229 games, for a league high series of 473!  Cade Johnson rolled 205 and 191 games, CJ Langenderfer rolled a 206 game, and Wil Newcomb added a 186 game.
Varsity Girls Bowling fell to Tinora 1792 pins to 1564 pins.  Delaney Burghardt lead the Lady Vikings with 146 and 144 games.  Emily Bissonnette added a 147 game.
The Varsity Bowling teams are back in action against @Swanton this Friday, 1/18 at 4pm

Attention Current CCP students-
A copy of your spring schedule and a copy of your book receipt is due to Mrs. Roper as soon as possible. You can email a screenshot or drop it off in the Counseling office.

Attention students interested in CCP for the 2019-2020 school year- There will be one more CCP meeting on Jan. 31 @ 530pm in the Media Center for you and your parents. If you are currently participating you must attend a meeting annually with mrs. Roper

Attention Ladies of the Junior Class  -- The application process is now open to attend Buckeye Girls State this summer.  Buckeye Girls State is a prestigious leadership opportunity and an excellent addition to your college and scholarship applications. This week-long event is a great way to meet hundreds of other students from across Ohio while learning about our local, county and state government. Information is available on the message board in the hallway. For more information, speak to Mr. Blanchong, Mrs. Roper, or the students that attended last year: Claudia Cromly and Morgan Miller. Stay tuned gentlemen, your chance to apply for for Buckeye Boys is coming soon.

ATTENTION ALL EVERGREEN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!
The sixth grade teachers at Evergreen Middle School are currently making plans for the 2019 6th grade Outdoor Education week, which will be held from Tuesday, May 7 through Friday, May 10.  We are looking for Evergreen students interested in being camp counselors. In order to apply, you must have a grade point average of at least 2.5, less than 10 days of parent-excused absences, and no major discipline problems. If you meet these qualifications and are interested in going to camp as a counselor, fill out the counselor application and return it to the High School office by Wednesday, January 23.

Baseball open gyms are for any young man grades 9 thru 12 who is considering playing 
baseball this spring and not currently playing a winter sport.  Baseball Open gyms are 630 
to 730 am in the high school gym on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting Tuesday
