On behalf of our amazing staff, I’d like to welcome our new and returning students to Evergreen High School. Our theme this year is “No One Left Behind!”. It's been a challenging past few years, and we’re excited to get back to business! As we return to school from the past two years, we’ll be working to identify any COVID related obstacles or gaps. We’ll also be working as a staff to efficiently transition to our new 8-period day. I’m thrilled to welcome you all to the 2021/2022 school year, and we’re looking forward to meeting new faces and hearing about all of your summer adventures!

This is my 4th year as the Principal at Evergreen High School, and my 10th year as a school administrator. Before taking on a role as a school administrator, I was a math teacher for many years in Toledo, Ohio. I’m a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio, and an alumni of Maumee High School and Bowling Green State University. My wife (Erica) and I have been happily married for 10 years, and welcomed our first child (Charlotte) in 2020. Erica works on a pediatric trauma, burn and surgery team at The Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, and we both love to spend time outside with our family and 6 year old chocolate lab (Jade). Jade may make an occasional appearance in the building, and loves spending time with kids!

I’m excited for a new school year, and our staff can’t wait to meet their students. Our custodial, maintenance, and technology staff have worked extremely hard all summer long to prepare the building for students. The building looks amazing! Teachers have spent hours over the summer reviewing data, attending professional developments, aligning curriculum, and prepared materials to create student-centered classroom environments. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or frustrations, I have an open door policy and would love to meet you to discuss how we can make your experience at Evergreen the absolute best it can be!
