Our Victorious, Independent, Knowledge seeking, Imaginations are the Next Generation; that’s what Evergreen Middle School Vikings are made of!
Evergreen Middle School is located in the newly renovated former high school building and provides instruction to more than 350 students in grades 6-8.
Besides focusing on the basic subjects, students also participate in a career education block which includes studies in art, computers/keyboarding and Family Consumer Science. In addition, all sixth graders enjoy a four day outdoor education program at Camp Palmer each spring. Intervention programs are available as well as tutoring assistance for students, including a built-in assist program and an afterschool homework club. Evergreen Middle School recognizes its student potential by holding various Award Days in which students are honored for their achievements. Students enjoy many classroom and non-class-room activities in which the school and community lend their support. Some of these programs include the Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, athletics, band and choir. Here children receive individualized attention to obtain useful knowledge, positive life-long habits and social attitudes. Evergreen Middle School is devoted to enhancing each individual's needs as students grow and develop into their own special person.
